RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol has seemingly dropped a major hint to suggest that he is close to joining Manchester City, based on his recent interaction on social media.
The treble winners have identified the 21-year-old as their primary summer target, and have been locked in negotiations with Leipzig over a big-money move throughout this month.
Man City now appear to have made significant strides in their efforts to recruit Gvardiol as they have reportedly reached a full agreement with Leipzig to sign the Croatia international.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that Gvardiol has already completed the first part of his medical and is 'on the verge' of finalising his move to the Etihad Stadium.
The news revealed by Romano on Wednesday evening was later posted on Instagram by football social media platform @433, and Gvardiol himself has interestingly liked that post about his proposed move to Man City.

Gvardiol is now also following Man City defenders John Stones and Ruben Dias on Instagram as well as the Premier League's official account.
Man City could make Gvardiol the world's most expensive defender, as Leipzig are believed to have been demanding a fee of around €100m (£85.4m).
Gvardiol, who has spent the last three years with Leipzig, could become the second Croatian to sign for Pep Guardiola's side this summer after midfielder Mateo Kovacic.
The former Dinamo Zagreb youngster has played in 87 games for Leipzig across all competitions, winning two DFB-Pokals, and he has been capped 21 times by Croatia, including seven appearances at the 2022 World Cup as the Checkered Ones won the third-placed playoff in Qatar.
