Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan is reportedly ready to turn down an approach from Barcelona in order to stay with the Premier League champions.
Barca have been linked with a move for the 27-year-old, who has two years remaining on his current deal at the Etihad Stadium.
However, the Manchester Evening News reports that Gundogan is more interested in extending his contract with City than he is moving to the La Liga champions.
Gundogan has featured in all four of City's Premier League matches so far this season and made 48 outings across all competitions last term as Pep Guardiola's side won the Premier League and EFL Cup double.
A number of other clubs are also thought to be weighing up a move for the Germany international, including AC Milan and teams from the Bundesliga.
