John Guidetti planning Manchester City stay?

John Guidetti reportedly sets his sights on earning a place in the Manchester City senior squad.

Swedish striker John Guidetti has reportedly informed his representatives that he wants to stay at Manchester City.

Recent reports have linked the 20-year-old with a host of clubs, including Sevilla, Lazio and Sunderland.

However, having recovered from an illness that left his right leg feeling numb, Guidetti has turned his attention to forcing his way into Roberto Mancini's plans, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The report went on to claim that City will now no longer look to loan out the centre-forward, who is due to play for the club's development side on Friday afternoon.
