Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has dismissed reports linking the club with a move for outgoing Barcelona star Andres Iniesta.
The veteran midfielder will leave the Catalan giants after 22 years this summer, but former Barca boss Guardiola has ruled out bringing him to the Premier League.
"I think when Andres decided to move on from Barcelona it was not to come to Manchester," the Daily Star quotes Guardiola as saying.
Iniesta has been tipped to join a team in the Chinese Super League when his contract expires.
The 33-year-old has spent the entirety of his senior career at Barca, having graduated from their youth team in 2001.
