The agent of Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus responds to suggestions that his client could join Juventus.

The agent of Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus said that "everything is possible" when asked whether his client could join Juventus in the future.

The Italian champions have allegedly identified the Brazil international as a replacement for Gonzalo Higuain, with the club thought to be lining up a £58m move.

Giovanni Branchini has refused to rule out a move to Turin but claimed that the 22-year-old would not seek a move away from the Etihad Stadium unless he was no longer wanted.

"We are talking about a great footballer and a great club, everything is possible. The difficulties of acquiring power will lead to not making many movements, it is better to have who you already have in the house, there will not be a large market going out," Branchini told Calciomercato.

"Some clubs with great economic difficulties could give rise to some sensational exchange, previously unthinkable. I am convinced that he will stay at City as long as City want him, as long as the team wants to maintain a certain type of profile.

"The only hypothesis I see is that if the owners should reduce their commitment or ambitions - which I don't think will happen - he will accept the farewell, but he will never want to leave."

Jesus has scored 18 times in 39 appearances for Pep Guardiola's side this season.
