Barcelona are reportedly hoping that Manchester City are willing to reach a compromise over the future of Ferran Torres.
Speculation persists that the Catalan giants want to sign the former Valencia man in January, regardless of their ongoing financial problems.
While City are said to be in no rush to part ways with the 21-year-old, the Premier League champions would allegedly do business for the right price.
However, according to reports in Spain, the two clubs are £13m apart in their valuations, City insisting that they want to recoup £51m for the Spain international.
Barcelona are currently willing to go as high as £38m, but are open to further negotiation as they bid to get a deal over the line at the start of 2022.
Torres, who is less than 18 months into a long-term contract at the Etihad Stadium, reportedly wants to move to Camp Nou in one of the upcoming windows.
