Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling is not Barcelona's first choice transfer target in attack, with the club preferring Dani Olmo, according to a report.

Barcelona's hierarchy have reportedly voiced concerns over the possible signing of Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling.

The Catalan outfit are set to be on the lookout for attacking reinforcements in the January transfer window following news that Sergio Aguero is set for a long spell on the sidelines with a heart problem.

Sterling is one of a number of players who have been linked with a move to the Camp Nou, with his future at Man City currently up in the air.

However, according to AS, Barca have concerns about how the England international would adapt to La Liga, while they have also not been encouraged by his form this season.

The report adds that the club's first choice transfer target would be RB Leipzig's Dani Olmo, who left the Camp Nou at the age of 16.

Sterling has started just three of Manchester City's Premier League games this season, scoring his only league goal of the campaign against Norwich City in August.
