West Bromwich Albion will reportedly look to hijack Aston Villa's permanent move for on-loan winger Scott Sinclair this summer.
Sinclair joined Villa from parent club Manchester City, after failing to secure a first-team place at the Etihad Stadium.
The FA Cup finalists were believed to be in pole position to land the ex-Swansea City star, but The Mirror claims that the Baggies are on the lookout for a winger and have earmarked Sinclair as a top priority.
It is thought that West Brom have noticed how the 26-year-old has struggled to cement a regular starting place at Villa since the emergence of youngster Jack Grealish.
While Sinclair endured an unsuccessful loan stint at The Hawthorns under previous Albion bosses Steve Clarke and Pepe Mel, Tony Pulis is said to be keen on adding pace to his team and has been impressed by the midfielder's work rate during his performances for the Villans.
