Anderlecht want Dedryck Boyata?

Belgian club Anderlecht are reportedly eager to sign Manchester City centre-back Dedryck Boyata on a season-long loan deal.

Manchester City defender Dedryck Boyata has reportedly been made a transfer target of Anderlecht.

The 23-year-old only recently signed a two-year contract extension at the Etihad Stadium.

However, with Martin Demichelis, Vincent Kompany, Eliaquim Mangala and Matija Nastasic ahead of him in the pecking order at centre-back, his chances of regular match action appear to be limited.

That has alerted Anderlecht, who are keen to sign the Belgium international on a season-long loan basis, according to the Daily Star.

Boyata joined City as a trainee back in 2006.
