Manchester City are well-positioned to sign Erling Braut Haaland should the prolific striker leave Borussia Dortmund this summer.
The Premier League leaders are one of a number of clubs rumoured to be in the running to sign the 20-year-old, along with Manchester United, Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
According to reports from Spain, Haaland is edging towards departing the Westfalenstadion at the end of the campaign to seek pastures new.
Haaland grew up a Man City fan, with father Alf-Inge Haaland previously spending three years at the club, which supposedly leaves the Citizens in a strong position to land his signature.
Here, Sports Mole looks at how Pep Guardiola could set out his side in 2021-22 should the Norway international join.
Man City remain on course for an unprecedented quadruple this season, suggesting that there is no obvious reason to strengthen their side.
However, with Sergio Aguero struggling for fitness for well over a year now, and Gabriel Jesus never really managing to find a consistent run of goals, Haaland would be the ideal man to lead Guardiola's line.
City do not exactly lack options in the wide areas to provide support, either, with Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez getting the nod in this side, though Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva are two more candidates.
Kevin De Bruyne remains one of the best attacking midfielders in world football and will pull the strings just off Haaland.
Guardiola also has a number of players to choose from in a defensive sense, though on form this season there is no looking past John Stones and Ruben Dias at centre-back.
Kyle Walker has struggled for regular starts at right-back this term but gets the nod here, while Joao Cancelo is now one of the key men in this system on the other side.
