Manuel Pellegrini has played down reports linking Pep Guardiola with replacing him at Manchester City this summer.
The Chilean is thought to be on borrowed time at Eastlands after leading City to a trophyless season, having won the Premier League and Capital One Cup last time out.
Consequently, speculation has mounted that the Bayern Munich coach could succeed him in the summer, but Pellegrini, whose contract expires in 2016, says that he knows nothing about the rumours.
"I didn't read it and I haven't heard any reports. I repeat, I haven't heard or seen any reports," he told reporters. "Nobody told me [about them]."
Pellegrini watched his side pick up a fourth straight league win in Sunday's 6-0 demolition of Queens Park Rangers, who were subsequently relegated.
