Roberto Mancini is reportedly planning a summer shake-up of the Manchester City squad.

Roberto Mancini is reportedly planning an exodus of Manchester City players at the end of the season.

City surrendered a seven-point lead to Manchester United and are now eight points behind their rivals at the top of the Premier League, which has sparked Mancini to sell some of the squad's under-performers in the summer, according to The Daily Express.

Carlos Tevez, Edin Dzeko, Nigel de Jong and Kolo Toure are all expected to leave the Etihad Stadium as Mancini will also look to get rid of Emmanuel Adebayor, Wayne Bridge and Roque Santa Cruz, who are out on loan but still command huge salaries.

The paper also reports that Mancini is keen on adding to his squad, with Lille's Eden Hazard, Napoli pair Edinson Canvani and Ezequiel Lavezzi and Arsenal captain Robin van Persie all targets for the Italian.

Mancini will only be able to carry out the shake-up if he manages to keep his job, which will be reviewed at the end of what looks set to be a trophiless season.
