Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott has admitted that he is "excited" by the return of Carlos Tevez.
Tevez arrived in Manchester on Tuesday afternoon, after spending the past three months in Argentina following his well-publicised falling-out with City boss Roberto Mancini.
His return has been met with criticism in some quarters, but Lescott has hinted that Tevez has the support of his teammates.
Lescott tweeted: "All I can say is that all the players are excited to have Carlos, Kolo [Toure] and Yaya [Toure] back to help achieve our goal. Who wouldn't want these players in their squad?"
Tevez is expected to meet with Mancini on Wednesday morning.
