Pep Guardiola agrees to take over as Manchester City manager next season?

Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola reportedly agrees to take over as Manchester City manager next season.

Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola has reportedly agreed to become the next Manchester City manager next season.

The former Barcelona coach was heavily linked with the two-time Premier League champions in the summer, but he opted to remain at the Allianz Arena.

Manuel Pellegrini's future at City also looked to be secured after the Chilean signed a new deal until 2017 in August.

However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Guardiola will leave Bayern at the end of this season and has already agreed to take over at City for the 2016-17 campaign after holding talks with the club's director of football Txiki Begiristain.

Guardiola's contract at Bayern expires next summer.
