Costel Pantilimon replaces Joe Hart in goal, while Micah Richards and Joleon Lescott come into defence.

Fernandinho is the only remaining player from Sunday's derby win over Manchester United as James Milner, Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic are all given starting berths by Manuel Pellegrini.

Yaya Toure, Jesus Navas, Samir Nasri and Alvaro Negredo are among those on the bench.

Meanwhile, Lee Nicholls and Juan Carlos Garcia make their debuts for Wigan.
