Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says that his side still have "much to learn" as they prepare to face Barcelona in the Champions League.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has said that he is always learning about the capabilities of his team, both in victory and defeat.

On Saturday, City ended a six-game winless streak as they defeated West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns, but while Guardiola was delighted with his side's performance, he suggested that his players cannot afford to become over-confident when they face Barcelona at the Etihad Stadium.

Earlier this month, City fell to a 4-0 setback at Camp Nou, but Guardiola has indicated that he is keen to see how his players rise to the challenge of playing a team he calls the best in Europe.

The 45-year-old told reporters: "Winning the last game helped a lot but the Champions League is much different.

"We lost 4-0! We still have much to learn. We concede a lot but I learn how good we compete in a lot of minutes. Tomorrow we have another chance against the best."

City currently sit five points adrift of Tuesday's opponents in Group C.
