Malaga 5-1 Real Zaragoza

Malaga move up to fourth in the Primera Division table with a 5-1 win at home to struggling Real Zaragoza.

Malaga have moved up to fourth in the Primera Division table with a flattering 5-1 win at home to struggling Real Zaragoza.

Despite being under pressure during the opening exchanges, Zaragoza took the lead in the 23rd minute thanks to Carlos Aranda's strike.

However, Sebastian Fernandez's header saw the sides go in level at the break.

Malaga got themselves in front with 20 minutes to play courtesy of Paulo Da Silva's own goal, before Martin Demichelis nodded in to make the score 3-1.

The win was sealed in the 80th minute when Isco converted, while Jose Rondon swept in at the death to condemn Zaragoza to their fourth defeat in five league games.
