Javier Saviola believes that the coming week will define Malaga's season.

Malaga striker Javier Saviola has said that the coming week will decide how far he and his teammates can go this season.

The Spaniards, currently sixth in La Liga, travel to Rayo Vallecano before hosting Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League quarter-finals, two games Saviola has challenged his teammates to prove their ability in.

"We will have to show a lot of responsibility [during a week] that will define what we are about as a team and what we are capable of doing," the 31-year-old told UEFA.com.

Malaga have failed to win in their last four league games.
