Malaga secure a 1-0 half-time lead against Porto in tonight's Champions League last-16 second leg at La Rosaleda.

Malaga have earned a 1-0 half-time lead against Porto in tonight's Champions League last-16 second leg at La Rosaleda.

As it stands, the tie will go to extra time with the score 1-1 on aggregate.

Following a scrappy opening, Porto had a chance to snatch an away goal with 14 minutes on the clock, but Danilo was off target with his effort.

Malaga were at the other end soon after as Julio Baptista headed Isco's free kick over the crossbar.

As both sides struggled to keep possession in a messy first half, Vitorino Antunes saw his powerful drive held by Helton with five minutes to play.

However, Malaga levelled the tie on aggregate in the 42nd minute when Isco smashed home an unstoppable shot into the top corner from the edge of the box.
