Raheem Sterling has cast further doubt on his future at Liverpool by reportedly failing to turn up for training.
The England international has been repeatedly linked with a move away from Anfield this summer, with Arsenal and Manchester City among the clubs thought to be monitoring the 20-year-old.
It is understood that Sterling has informed the club that he does not want to go on their pre-season tour of the Far East and Australia, and widespread reports have now claimed that the youngster called in sick to training on Wednesday.
Jamaica-born Sterling scored 11 goals in 52 appearances for the Merseysiders last season.
Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher recently warned the player that he could be in danger of gaining a negative reputation over the speculation surrounding his future.
