Liverpool target Alex Teixeira has reportedly agreed a move to Chinese side Jiangsu Suning.
The Brazilian playmaker was heavily linked with a January switch to the Premier League, with Liverpool seeing a £24m offer rejected by Shakhtar Donetsk
The Reds were expected to return for the 26-year-old in the summer, but it now appears as though he is on course for a £38m switch to China, where he would link up with former Chelsea midfielder Ramires.
"We have agreed the sale of Alex Teixeira to China," Shakhtar boss Mircea Lucescu is quoted as saying by ESPN Brazil.
"But we will wait a bit to finalise it due to the situation with Luiz Adriano. But it's all sorted on our side."
The reported fee would be a new Asian record, breaking the mark set by Jackson Martinez's £31.7m switch to Guangzhou Evergrande just two days ago.
