Liverpool have reportedly been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Roma goalkeeper Alisson, with the Serie A side looking to tie the Brazilian to a new contract.
The Reds allegedly had a bid turned down for the 25-year-old in January, and according to Italian source Calciomercato, any further attempts at bidding for the stopper could be scuppered.
The source says that Roma want to put a release clause of up to €90m (£80m) in Allison's new deal, with the player asking for €5m (£4.4m) per season including bonuses.
Alisson's current deal, which runs until 2021, will see him earn €1.5m (£1.3m) over the course over the next three years.
Liverpool completed businesses with Roma at the end of last season, agreeing a switch for Mohamed Salah to Anfield.
