RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner has already agreed to join Liverpool at the end of the season, according to a report.
The 24-year-old is a player in demand after scoring 71 goals in the last four Bundesliga campaigns, including 21 in 25 outings this season.
Leipzig are confident of keeping hold of their prized asset, but he is thought to have a £50m release clause in his contract, making him a viable option for a number of clubs.
Real Madrid and Barcelona could step up their interest in Werner if they miss out on their top targets, but Bleacher Report suggests that the Reds have already won the race for his signature.
Werner is said to have given his blessing that he will join Liverpool, where he will have the chance to work under Jurgen Klopp, when the next transfer window opens.
Premier League champions-elect Liverpool are also rumoured to be looking to sign midfielder Marcelo Brozovic from Inter Milan.
