Report: Liverpool want to sign Leeds United right-back this summer

Liverpool reportedly hope to conclude a £8m deal to sign Leeds United right-back Sam Byram this summer.

Liverpool are close to securing a deal to sign Leeds United right-back Sam Byram, according to reports.

The 20-year-old has been repeatedly linked with a move to the Premier League this season, with Southampton and Sunderland said to be interested.

However, the Daily Star reports that Liverpool have won the race for his signature and will wrap up an £8m deal in the summer.

Leeds owner Massimo Cellino values Byram at £10m, but is understood to be willing to negotiate.

Byram has already made over 100 appearances for Leeds since his debut in 2012.
