Liverpool have failed to sign Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk winger Yevhen Konoplyanka, according to a report.
Sky Sports News claims that the Premier League outfit's negotiations with Dnipro have broken down, and that the proposed move of the 24-year-old to Anfield will not go ahead.
The Reds' managing director Ian Ayre has been in Ukraine for the past two days in order to strike a deal, but he has failed to do so.
It has been reported that the Ukraine international had successfully undergone a medical and his release clause of £15m was met, but Dnipro president Ihor Kolomoyskyi refused to sign the necessary paperwork before Friday's deadline.
Konoplyanka emerged as a transfer target for Liverpool after they missed out on Mohamed Salah, who joined Chelsea from Basel on Sunday.
