Liverpool will reportedly make a £20m move for Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland at the end of the season.
The England international has impressed at the Britannia Stadium this term, having been handed the No.1 shirt following the departure of Asmir Begovic.
According to The Sun, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is now eyeing up Butland as a long-term successor to Belgian stopper Simon Mignolet.
However, the same report suggests that Liverpool will hold off making an approach for the 22-year-old until the summer months, rather than rushing in with a January bid.
Butland, who has been capped three times by Roy Hodgson at international level, recently set his sights on ousting Joe Hart as England's first-choice keeper.
