Report: Barcelona offer Alexis Sanchez for Luis Suarez

A report claims that Barcelona have made Liverpool an offer of £30m plus Alexis Sanchez for Uruguay international Luis Suarez.

Barcelona have reportedly made Liverpool an offer of £30m plus Alexis Sanchez for Uruguay international Luis Suarez.

Suarez, who finished top of the scoring charts in the Premier League last season, netted twice for Uruguay on Thursday as the South American side all but eliminated England from the World Cup.

Real Madrid and Barcelona have both been strongly credited with an interest this summer, but Liverpool have thus far repelled talk of a move.

According to Mundo Deportivo, however, Barca have offered Liverpool the chance to sign top target Sanchez, in addition to a figure in the region of £30m in order to complete the deal.

Sanchez, who is widely expected to leave the Camp Nou this summer, is also a reported transfer target for Manchester United and Juventus.
