Pepe Reina completes move from Liverpool to Bayern Munich

Pepe Reina finalises his move to Bayern Munich from Liverpool by signing a three-year contract with the German club.

Bayern Munich have announced that goalkeeper Pepe Reina has finalised his move from Liverpool by signing a three-year deal.

The Spanish international's future was in doubt for some time after returning to Merseyside following a season-long loan at Napoli.

However, the shot-stopper will now fight Manuel Neuer for the number one spot at the Allianz Arena after putting pen to paper on a new deal.

Via Bayern's official Twitter page, Reina said: "I came here as I want to win as many trophies as possible."

The 31-year-old spent nine years at Anfield, but manager Brendan Rodgers has opted to give Simon Mignolet the number one role.
