Manchester City have reportedly joined the race for Borussia Monchengladbach attacker Marcus Thuram.
The 23-year-old has been in impressive form for his Bundesliga club during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring three times and contributing five assists in 10 appearances in all competitions.
A number of clubs, including Barcelona, Real Madrid and Liverpool, have been credited with an interest in the forward, who has been named in the France squad for their November fixtures.
However, according to Bild, City are also in the hunt for Thuram, who is the son of France legend Lilian Thuram.
The former Guingamp youngster has netted 17 times and registered 14 assists in 49 appearances for his German club since arriving ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.
Gladbach will seemingly struggle to keep hold of the Frenchman on a long-term basis, but the Bundesliga outfit will be in a strong position to negotiate as they have him on a contract until June 2023.
