Manchester City are reportedly ready to rival Real Madrid and Liverpool for the signature of Nice striker Amine Gouiri.
Pep Guardiola's side failed in their pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur talisman Harry Kane last year and are supposedly not planning to reignite their pursuit of the England captain.
However, the reigning Premier League champions are expected to be in the market for a Sergio Aguero replacement next year, with a January move for Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe being touted.
Jurgen Klopp is rumoured to have personally requested the signing of Gouiri for Liverpool, but according to Fichajes, Man City are also keeping tabs on the 21-year-old.
Gouiri's breakthrough season with Nice last term saw him hit 12 goals and seven assists in 34 Ligue 1 matches, and he has continued to thrive under the tutelage of Christophe Galtier.
The France Under-21 international already boasts five goals and two assists from seven league games this term and is contracted to Nice until the summer of 2024.
