Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke describes recent speculation regarding the future of Erling Braut Haaland as "bulls**t".

CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke dismisses suggestions that Borussia Dortmund will be forced to sell Erling Braut Haaland next summer.

The German club effectively priced Haaland out of the market during the recent transfer window, demanding in the region of £150m for the Norway international.

However, reports have frequently claimed that the 21-year-old possesses a release clause in his contract and that Dortmund may have to sell their most prized asset due to being listed on the stock exchange.

Watzke has batted away such suggestions, describing comments regarding the immediate future of Haaland as "bulls**t".

Speaking to Sport1, Watzke said: "It has not yet been decided whether he will really leave in the summer. We'll just have a look.

"I heard someone say: "They have to sell Haaland because they are listed on the stock exchange." This is all bulls**t. The decision whether someone is sold at our company is made by the management and only by the management."

Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are all said to be monitoring the situation.
