Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho has reportedly turned down a move to Turkish outfit Besiktas.
The 26-year-old is believed to have been told by manager Jurgen Klopp that he will not play for the Reds unless he proves his fitness and professionalism on loan elsewhere.
The Frenchman is eligible to play after an investigation into his failed drug test was overturned following the conclusion of the defender's 30-day ban.
Despite being a regular member of the first team last season, Sakho has dropped out of contention and was sent home from Liverpool's pre-season tour of the United States for disciplinary reasons.
According to The Mirror, Sakho turned down an opportunity to talk to Besiktas as he is holding out for a move to a French or Italian club.
The report adds that the centre-back has also rejected Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion.
