Liverpool are reportedly unlikely to sign either Enzo Fernandez or Jude Bellingham during the January transfer window.

Liverpool are reportedly unlikely to sign either Jude Bellingham or Enzo Fernandez during the January transfer window.

The Reds were linked with signing a midfielder in the summer and are looking to bolster their options after regular injuries suffered by the likes of Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Arthur Melo and Curtis Jones.

According to TeamTalk, it would take a fee of around £130m to begin talks with Bellingham, whilst Fernandez also demands a high fee, with his release clause set at €120m (£103m).

The report also claims that both players are very much on Liverpool's radar, and while a January deal is not on the cards, they will continue working on a move for the summer.

Fernandez starred for Argentina in their World Cup triumph, winning the best young player at the tournament with the 21-year-old playing every minute from the round of 16 onwards, as well as scoring the winning penalty in the shootout win over France.

In Bellingham's case, Gareth Southgate entrusted the Borussia Dortmund midfielder by starting him in every game of England's run to the quarter-finals, as the 19-year-old impressed on the world stage.
