Liverpool reportedly plan to monitor the contract talks of Swansea City winger Scott Sinclair.

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Swansea City winger Scott Sinclair.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers, who was appointed as Kenny Dalglish's successor at Anfield last month, signed Sinclair for the Swans in 2010.

The 23-year-old has 14 months remaining on his current contract at the Liberty Stadium and chairman Huw Jenkins has revealed that he will hold talks with the player prior to the start of the new campaign.

Liverpool are closely monitoring Sinclair's situation, according to the Daily Mail. Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Fulham are also said to be keen on the former Chelsea man.

Sinclair scored eight Premier League goals last season.
