Report: Liverpool looking to sign Adama Traore from Barcelona

Brendan Rodgers is reportedly looking to add winger Adama Traore to his squad on a season-long loan.

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing young Barcelona winger Adama Traore on loan.

The 19-year-old, who has been strongly linked with a move to Stoke City this summer, could leave Camp Nou following the arrival of wingers Aleix Vidal and Arda Turan.

Catalan radio station RAC1 reports that club officials have travelled from Merseyside to Barcelona to negotiate a deal to take the player for the season.

Traore has previously represented Spain at youth level, but announced his intention to play for Mali in 2014.

The winger made 37 appearances for Barcelona B last season, scoring three goals.
