Liverpool are reportedly in talks with youngster Jordan Ibe about signing a new five-year contract.

Liverpool are reportedly prepared to offer youngster Jordan Ibe a new long-term contract.

The 17-year-old is said to have impressed manager Brendan Rodgers with his performances for the Under-21s side at Anfield.

It is understood that talks over a new five-year deal are ongoing between the club and Ibe's representatives, according to the Liverpool Daily Post.

Ibe, who moved to the Merseyside outfit from Wycombe Wanderers in 2011, is likely to secure fresh terms when he turns 18 next month.
