Liverpool to bid for highly-rated 18-year-old Daniel Amartey?

Liverpool could be ready to make a January bid to sign 18-year-old Ghanaian youngster Daniel Amartey from Swedish side Djurgarden.

Liverpool could bid for Djurgarden's exciting Ghanaian prospect Daniel Amartey in January, according to reports in the press.

The 18-year-old midfielder is highly thought of at the Swedish club and has already represented his country at Under-20s level.

The Mirror reports that Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers could bid for Amartey in January with the idea of loaning him back to the club until he receives a work permit to play in England.

It is thought that Liverpool value the player in the region of £1.5m.

Rodgers and his Liverpool side are in Premier League action this weekend as they travel to the Emirates to face Arsenal on Saturday evening.
