Liverpool sign goalkeeper Alexander Doni

Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Alexander Doni from AS Roma.

The 31-year-old has been linked to the Premier League club throughout the summer but the move is now official after Doni completed a medical and agreed personal terms.

The Brazilian has featured for Roma 179 times during his career in Italy and he also has 10 international caps to his name.

Doni has been part of a winning side that lifted the Coppa Italia on two occasions, as well as the Supporcoppa Italiana.
