Liverpool are reportedly lining up Tottenham Hotspur target Roberto Soldado as a potential replacement for Luis Suarez.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is plotting an audacious swoop for the Valencia striker as Suarez nears the Anfield exit, according to The Mirror.
Suarez has reportedly told Liverpool that he would like his future resolved within the next 24 hours as Arsenal continue to pursue him.
The Merseyside outfit are believed to be holding out for £50m for the Uruguay international after rejecting an offer of more than £40m from the Gunners.
Meanwhile, Spurs have been heavily linked with Soldado, but are reported to be reluctant to meet the La Liga club's £26m asking price.
Cash-strapped Valencia are said to be hopeful of offloading the striker before August 3 for tax purposes.
