Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has reportedly made Real Madrid attacker Jose Callejon a transfer target this summer.
The 26-year-old returned to the Bernabeu from Espanyol in 2011, but since then he hasn't been able to force his way into the Madrid starting lineup on a regular basis.
As a result, his agent Manuel Garcia Quilon has started to look for alternative clubs, with Liverpool among the frontrunners, according to the Daily Star.
However, the report added that Italian duo Napoli and Fiorentina are ready to challenge the Reds for Callejon's signature.
Callejon has scored 20 goals in 76 appearances for Los Blancos.
