Sunderland keeper Jordan Pickford has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Liverpool over the coming months.
Loris Karius, who has been the Reds' number one after joining the club in the summer, has come under fire for his recent performances, including in the 4-3 defeat at Bournemouth last weekend.
Club Call cites sources in England as saying that Pickford is now very much on the radar of the Merseyside club, who are ready to test Sunderland's resolve with a bid.
Indeed, former Liverpool stopper Chris Kirkland has revealed that he recommended Pickford to the Anfield outfit, having worked with the youngster at Preston North End.
Pickford has become a regular fixture in the Sunderland side following an injury to Vito Mannone earlier this season.
