Liverpool reportedly offer Divock Origi a new long-term deal amid interest from other clubs looking to take advantage of his current contract situation.

Divock Origi has reportedly been offered a new long-term contract by Champions League winners Liverpool.

Despite beginning the last campaign out of favour, Origi has netted several important goals for Jurgen Klopp's side over the past 12 months, including efforts against Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur in Europe.

However, as a result of the versatile attacker having just 12 months left on his existing deal, Liverpool are having to fend off interest in the Belgium international's signature.

According to the Daily Star, the Merseyside giants have now moved to offer Origi fresh terms, which is likely to include a substantial pay rise.

Nevertheless, the report adds that the 24-year-old's main priority is playing time given his reduced role over the course of last season.

Origi has allegedly already decided to spend the first half of the upcoming campaign at Anfield.
