Liverpool in talks with Christian Atsu?

Liverpool are reportedly on the verge of signing Porto winger Christian Atsu.

The Reds have been linked with the Ghanaian over the last few weeks and are to enter into advanced talks with the 21-year-old, according to The Guardian.

Brendan Rodgers is looking to spend around £3m on the youngster as he continues his summer recruitment drive.

Rodgers has already wrapped up deals for Kolo Toure and Iago Aspas this summer, with Shakhtar Donetsk's £20m-rated playmaker Henrik Mkhitaryan also said to be set for a medical with the club.
