A report claims that AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma could be on his way to Liverpool this summer, as agent Mino Raiola is desperate for him to leave San Siro.

Liverpool have become Gianluigi Donnarumma's preferred choice of club if he quits AC Milan this summer, according to a report.

The Italy international remained at San Siro for the 2017-18 campaign despite having a pick of top teams to choose from last summer.

Agent Mino Raiola is desperate for the young goalkeeper to move on before next season, however, and Calciomercato suggests that the Reds may be the frontrunners to land his signature.

Liverpool are understood to be seeking a new first-choice stopper due to doubts over Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet, the latter of whom is likely to be sold in the coming weeks to make room.

Real Madrid, Manchester United, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have previously been credited with showing an interest in Donnarumma.
