Liverpool are reportedly open to making a formal bid for Motherwell youngster Lennon Miller.
The Merseyside giants are currently blessed with one of the best squads in world football, as shown by their four-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.
However, Arne Slot is currently working with a group of players where the youngest player is 21 years of age, highlighting a lack of prospects for the future.
Although that could change in the long term, there is no indication that any such players will be promoted to the senior ranks for the foreseeable future.
Nevertheless, as per CaughtOffside, Liverpool have their sights firmly set on trying to tempt a Scottish starlet to make the switch South of the border.

The report suggests that consideration is being given to making a bid in the region of £8m for Miller.
Despite being just 18 years of age, Miller has made 15 starts in the Scottish Premiership during 2024-25, contributing two goals and five assists.
Miller has generally been used as a bonafide central-midfielder or in an advanced role, as well as being deployed on the right flank for one game.
With the Scotland Under-21 international possessing a contract until 2026, Motherwell are in a position where they would realistically have to consider any suitable offers.
Liverpool scouts are said to have been left with the performances of Miller, while he has already captained the team on five occasions.
Liverpool to face Premier League competition?
The report alleges that Brighton & Hove Albion, Newcastle United and Southampton are also ready to involve themselves in the race for Miller.
Of the three, it is claimed that Brighton - known for their investment in developing youth talent - are the most keen to get a deal done.
Miller may be left with a decision over whether he wants to join the biggest club possible or a team where he would receive more opportunities.
Liverpool may already be looking to reintegrate a young Scottish talent into their squad for 2025-26 with Ben Doak having contributed one goal and five assists on loan at Championship side Middlesbrough.
