Liverpool may reportedly hand a contract to goalkeeper Andy Lonergan after Alisson Becker sustained a calf injury on Friday night.
During the first half of the 4-1 victory over Norwich City in the Premier League, Alisson needed to be substituted after breaking down while taking a goal kick.
Despite Adrian being able to provide backup, manager Jurgen Klopp would be left short of options should the immediate deputy be ruled out at any point going forward.
According to the London Evening Standard, Klopp could now give a short-team deal to free agent Lonergan, who spent time with Liverpool during pre-season.
The Merseyside giants will wait on an official update on Alisson before making a decision, although there are fears that the Brazilian will be sidelined for at least six weeks.
