Liverpool 'complete Alexis Sanchez capture'

Phil Thompson's sources claim that Alexis Sanchez to Liverpool is a done deal.

Former Liverpool star Phil Thompson has claimed that the club have already completed the signing of Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona.

The Reds legend's sources informed him that the Chile international will arrive at Anfield after the World Cup, according to The Metro.

"Just yesterday I heard things from people, newspaper guys who are very close to the ground at Liverpool, saying that the Sanchez deal was actually done," said Thompson.

It is yet to be confirmed how much Liverpool will be forced to pay for Sanchez, but previous reports suggest that the Spaniards could demand as much as £27m for him.
