Liverpool's Rickie Lambert 'targeted by four relegation scrappers'

Crystal Palace, Hull City, West Bromwich Albion and Queens Park Rangers are said to be targeting Liverpool's Rickie Lambert to boost their chances of avoiding the drop.

Liverpool striker Rickie Lambert is reportedly a transfer target for four Premier League clubs involved in the relegation battle.

Crystal Palace, Hull City, West Bromwich Albion and Queens Park Rangers are vying for the former Southampton forward, according to The People.

All four clubs are hoping to take the 32-year-old on loan before the winter transfer window closes at 11pm on February 2.

Lambert is said to be happy at Anfield, but could be forced to consider any offer that comes in to stand a chance of holding down first-team football for the remainder of the season.
