Manager Jurgen Klopp acknowledges that some players will still leave Liverpool before the end of August.

Manager Jurgen Klopp has acknowledged that it is "clear" that a number of players will still leave Liverpool this summer.

The Merseyside giants have spent over £160m on four additions ahead of the new Premier League campaign, leaving Klopp with a well-populated first-team squad.

However, Klopp has confirmed to reporters at a press conference that he expects sales and loan deals to be struck before the end of August.

One of Loris Karius or Simon Mignolet could potentially be allowed to move to another club, while Dominic Solanke has been linked with a loan switch to Scottish giants Rangers.

Lazar Markovic is expected to depart to a side in Europe, while a number of EFL outfits are weighing up an approach for young winger Sheyi Ojo.
