Joe Cole reveals that he would consider making his loan move from Liverpool to Lille a permanent one.

Joe Cole has revealed that he would be willing to consider a permanent move to French champions Lille.

The 29-year-old joined the Mastiffs last month on a season-long loan deal from Liverpool.

He has subsequently made five appearances for the club, scoring one goal, and has revealed that he is "enjoying" his time on the continent.

"I could join Lille permanently," said Cole. "If they are happy with me and vice-versa, I don't see why not.

"Lille have quality players, and there's an unbeatable mood in the dressing room. I benefit from it every day an I am enjoying myself.

"There is a superb team spirit at the club. I love playing here."

Cole said in a recent interview that he was keen on earning a recall to the England squad.
